I've had the pleasure of working with Stardust Games to sound design Grimoire Groves! It's been so much fun working on this project, leaning into audio that is bright, synth-forward, and even a little cartoony. Grimoire Groves is a whimsical rogue-like game where you cast magical spells and befriend plant creatures to save the forest. The Kickstarter hit fully funded in the first 24 hours.

About Me
Hello! My name is Samantha Schellenberg Bader and I’m a sound designer based in Alexandria, VA, right outside of Washington D.C.
My love for post-production was founded by watching behind-the-scenes featurettes of my favorite movies growing up, and I eventually received my degree in sound design from UNCSA - where I spent most of my time on the foley stage learning the ins and outs of audio.
I have a strong background in SFX design, foley, dialogue editing, etc. with my overall specialty being creature/monster design. I’m happy to have showcased much of this across several different film festivals, indie premieres, and video game conventions around the world!
Recently I've been working on Grimoire Groves by Stardust Games, foley for a kid's show, and a couple other indie passion projects. Most of my time the past two years has been spent designing, editing, and mixing/mastering as Audio Lead at an educational technology company called Kibeam Learning.
Now I'm looking for remote contract and full time opportunities - I hope we can collaborate and create something fun!
